"Mezu Mezu" is an enchanting rosé brut that masterfully harmonizes Liguria's coastal terroir with an equal blend of two distinguished grape varieties—Rossese and Sangiovese. Named "Mezzo Mezzo" in Italian and "Half and half" in English, this sparkling wine is crafted using the Martinotti method, akin to the renowned Prosecco method, producing the fine and well-integrated bubbles that contribute to a delightful effervescence.

This rosé brut unfolds with a symphony of red fruit flavors, including the bright and lively notes of cherry and strawberry inherent to Sangiovese, complemented by the delicate and aromatic qualities of Rossese. The result is a well-balanced palate that dances with a refreshing acidity and a hint of minerality.

This wine is a blend of Merlot and Dolcetto. The Merlot undergoes aging in barriques, while the Dolcetto matures in large wooden barrels for three years. Afterward, the wine is blanded, 60% Dolcetto and 40% Merlot, bottled, where it remains for six months to enhance its bouquet and characteristics.

Vermentino from Cantine Calleri is from the western side of Liguria, called Riviera Ligure di Ponente (DOC).

Brilliant ruby ​​red color, with a pleasant and predominantly fruity nose, with hints of cherry, morello cherry and red fruits. In the mouth it is medium-bodied, dry and fresh, with a nice persistence.
