2019 is considered a standout vintage, comparable to the exceptional 2015 and 2016 vintages. The year saw ideal growing conditions, with warm days and cool nights that allowed the grapes to ripen slowly, building complexity and balance. Wines from 2019 are well-structured, with vibrant acidity, complex aromatics, and excellent aging potential.
Brilliant and intense ruby red. Aromas of spice, hints of pink pepper, wild herbs, plum, blueberry and rhubarb. The palate is soft and balanced with delicate tannins and vibrant acidity, long persistency. Large and well structured. The sip is long, juicy and savory. Very persistent.
