The winery Cascina Bruciata, active since the beginning of 1880, is located in Barbaresco, in the area of Rio Sordo. The company was bought around 1880 by Giovanni Balbo when, following an arson, the then owner decided to sell. Around the 50s the company acquired an exclusively viticultural connotation, but saw its potential realized with Carlo Balbo, who, at the beginning of the new millennium, decided to produce wine and market it. In 2016 it was purchased by the Abbona Family, maintaining its full autonomy and identity.
